  • I’ve been turned down by my current lender, can you help?

    Being refused a mortgage can be distressing and frustrating, even more so if you have been a loyal customer. Mortgage lending is constantly changing and has developed new challenges post COVID and raising a mortgage has become more difficult. We are fully qualified mortgage experts and have years of mortgage experience. We focus exclusively on mortgage advice and our knowledge of the market is extensive. This means we are able to help many customers obtain a mortgage after they have been turned down elsewhere.

  • Am I too old for a mortgage?

    The good news is that there are now mortgage products available which have been created with 'older borrowers' in mind. Typically created for the Over 65's these mortgages can actually be available to anyone over the age of 55 and you may have the choice of interest only or capital repayment terms. Some of these mortgages have no upper age limits but we can recommend the one that best suits your needs.

  • Do we work with all lenders?

    We have access to lenders that represent the whole of the mortgage market. While this does not include some interest rates only available directly, it does allow us to offer you comprehensive advice on lending policy and which lender is best suited to your needs.

  • Why do I need a Mortgage broker?

    Identifying the best mortgage for your personal circumstances, from thousands of mortgage deals, many are not available on the high street and submitting a successful application is no mean feat. 
    As well as the complexities involved, its time consuming and can be costly if mistakes are made. That’s where the expertise of a mortgage broker can play a huge role.

  • What are your fees?

    We will provide advice and recommendations to suit your personal circumstances. This will also include managing the application process from start to finish. Depending on your circumstances a fee of £295 may be payable on completion and is ONLY payable if you do actually complete.

  • Are we regulated?

    AIMS Mortgages is an appointed representative of Tenet which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

  • Can you offer life insurance?

    As part of the mortgage advice process we will provide you with advice on the best way to protected your home and family.
